ChannelS had a superior objective of developing knowledge, methods and technological building blocks for net-based, multi-platform information and service solutions ― solutions which enable information and services to be tailored and channeled to various target groups in different work and life situations.
- NR's contribution

Twenty-four projects were performed within the scope of ChannelS. Several of these sub-projects were fully financed by ChannelS, while others were spinoff-projects with industrial partners. Twenty-two researchers were involved in the SIP. Four theses for the master degree have been delivered with subjects relevant to the SIP.
- Benefit for customers

ChannelS served several purposes for the customers and spin-offs, from development of a channel strategy to basing new companies on results from the project.

The project dissemination was part of the information stream on multimedia, helping to create knowledge on convergence in the media market.
