This project had focus on universally designed user interfaces for static and dynamic web pages. This included web services and applications. A brochure tailored for web designers and authors was produced with a design guide (veileder) on creating user interfaces for cognitively impaired users, WCAG 2.0, ELMER 2.0, other relevant standards and the legal framework by the Norwegian authorities.
The brochure's content was based on results from other projects, in particular DIADEM and UNIMOD , the results of which were checked and enriched in a quality assurance process by means of user feedback in terms of tests and interviews, and expert advice by experienced stakeholders including advanced users, researchers, web developers, and experts on the relevant topics.

- NR contributed to all parts of the project, including user testing and interviews, as we have a broad experience in this area.
- Benefit for customers
- We produced a Norwegian tutorial which extends and completes the series of tutorials and best-practices brochures currently offered by Helsedirektoratet and Deltasenteret.
- Benefit for society
- The brochure is available for the public and anyone interested in the development of static and dynamic web pages, including professional web developers, designers, and authors, as well as amateurs, enthusiasts, and private individuals.

We had a workshop on Dec. 10, 2009 to reach out with our message and get feedback on a draft of the tutorial. The workshop presentations can be downloaded below.
